Continuous Improvement

Get Into Golf
'Get into Golf' is a national campaign run by England Golf to get more people golfing. As an official ‘Get Into Golf' centre, we offer an extensive array of lessons through a 4-stage learning program: Starter, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced – each consisting of a 4-week structured program.
Player Development Plans
Our development plans are carefully designed and are unique to every golfer. The plans are a comprehensive approach to lasting improvement. We will take you through a strategic assessment in the shape of a physical screen and an on-course assessment.
Clinics
We offer bespoke clinics for all abilities of golfers, both on and off the course. Our dynamic team of professionals hold clinics on all aspects of the game, from long to short, mental approach and course management.
Two-Day Golf Schools
We invite you to spend two days here at the THSG based at the beautiful Ross-on-Wye Golf Club. We offer day schools in small groups of four, so you can spend quality time with the professionals. You will learn where your game needs to improve and will be given all the tools to maintain the improvement.

Tim Hall - Head PGA Golf Professional
After reading Sport Science at the University of Worcester I decided to turn professional at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club in Shropshire. From my time at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club I built up a wealth of experience and established myself as a great teacher by working with some of the best players in the region. I pride myself on giving a first class service in all areas to customers and pupils. I have developed strong connections with schools in the region developing many initiatives to improve grass roots in the community. My work with Foremost Golf, one of Europe’s leading buying groups, has not gone unnoticed where I previously won the much coveted professional of the year award for services to my members. I also work closely with the National Club Golfer magazine where I feature in their teaching articles. The National Club Golfer is the highest distributed golf magazine in the UK. Off the back of my successes, in 2009 I opened the Tim Hall School Of Golf at Ross-on-Wye Golf Club, which has developed and grown over time, and is now one of Gloucestershire's best Golf Tuition & Custom Fitting Venues.
James Dobbs - Golf Shop & THSG Assistant
I started golf at an early age and am currently playing off a handicap of scratch, representing both Gloucestershire 1st team and their elite golf squad. I have represented the England Schools team as well. I was a pupil at the local John Kyrle High School and completed a two year course at Hartpury College. I am focused on my practice with the aim to be competing in the highest level amateur events in the coming years.
