So you've read this week's Coaching Corner article; now here is a follow-up on how you can put the theory into practice on the driving range....
Lesson Update

This week we continue our theme of what great players do best — pressure putting inside 10 feet.
One of the biggest differences between good players and great players is their ability to hole putts when it matters most. The best players in the world are exceptional from short range because they practise under pressure, not just with repetition.
This week we introduce The Satellite Drill — a fantastic exercise used by top players and US college golf teams to create real pressure on the putting green.
You will need:
Place tees at:
At the North, South, East and West points around the hole.
At each station:
The challenge is to complete all 4 stations in a row.
Miss one putt… and you go right back to the beginning!
That’s where the pressure starts to build — exactly like it does on the golf course in competition.
One of the biggest faults in golf practice is that we rarely simulate the real thing. On the course, we don’t get 50 chances with no consequence. Every putt means something.
This drill introduces:
…and helps us train more like the professionals.
As the pressure increases, make sure you commit to going through your full pre-shot process from last week’s newsletter before every putt.
Train with purpose. Train under pressure. Hole more putts when it matters most.
